    The Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly City-Wide Settlement Upgrading Fund (STMA-CSUF) inaugurated its new board of trustees at the Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi on 26th September, 2017. STMA-CSUF is a local finance facility under United Nations Center for Human Settlement Development (UN-HABITAT) Slum Upgrading Facility (SUF). It was formed in 2007 asa company limited by guarantee through a partnership with UN-HABITAT and STMA with the vision to lead the mobilization of finance for affordable shelter and Slum Upgrading and prevention projects in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis through partnership with local commercial banks, microfinance institutions, donor agencies and other partners. The Institutions that make up the Board of Trustees of STMA-CSUF are Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, Ghana Institute of Planners, Ghana Institute of Engineers, Ghana Association of Bankers, Ghana Federation of Urban Poor,Coalition of Non- Governmental into Water and Sanitation (CONIWAS), Kojokrom Market Women Association, African Women International and Global Communities. Upon the swearing in of the new Board of Trustees, new Board Executive were also elected to take up the mantle in administering the affairs of the fund. The new executives and their portfolios on the Board are; Chairman (Architect Eugene Ofori Atta), Vice Chairman (Mr. John Equan Sampson Davis), Treasurer (Mrs.Victoria Araba Dennis) and Secretary (Mr. Aziz Mahmoud).
