ABOUT NADMO

NADMO assists in planning and implementing programs to prevent and /or mitigate disastrous events within the Municipal. In the event of a disaster, the Department works with other Municipal departments and various agencies to administer relief to communities.

MAJOR ACIVITIES

  1. 1. Administers preventative education programs within communities.
  2. 2. Facilitate the formation of volunteer programs that assist in awareness training.
  3. 3. Offers post-disaster counseling services.
  4. 4. Supplies post-disaster relief products (e.g. bedding, toiletries, etc.)
  5. 5. Advises the Municipal on physical planning development to ensure areas are not disaster-prone.
